Chinese-German Research and Development Center founded in Shanghai

In order to further expand cooperation in the field of vehicle technology, the Tongji University in Shanghai, the Lower Saxony Research Center for Vehicle Technology and the Lightweight Campus Open Hybrid LabFactory founded the Chinese-German Research and Development Center (CDZA) at Tongji University on October 18, 2019. The two research centers of the Technical University of Braunschweig are among the main members. The newly founded research center will be headed by Prof. Dr. Zhang Lijun as director (dean of the School of Automotive Stu-dies at Tongji University) and the two vice directors, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Zhang Tong and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Vietor (NFF board spokesman and OHLF board member).
