Conference with Qingdao Surveying and Mapping Institute

The EAST-CITIES team, Establishing and Achieving Sustainability Targets in Eastern Chinese Cities, recently completed a successful trip to Shanghai and Qingdao, China. After the initial meeting in Shanghai the TU Braunschweig and Tongji University partners went on an excursion to Qingdao, the research project site, to establish local partners and learn about the city and region of Qingdao. During this time the EAST-CITIES team met with and held a symposium with Qingdao Surveying and Mapping Institute showcasing project done by both parties and discussing possibilities for working together in the future, in attendance was the Director of the Qingdao Surveying and Mapping Institute, Yu Hai. The EAST-CITIES team looks forward for the continued collaboration with Qingdao Surveying and Mapping Institute moving forward with our research project.
