Discussions with Qingdao Urban Planning and Design Institute

The EAST-CITIES team, Establishing and Achieving Sustainability Targets in Eastern Chinese Cities, recently completed a successful trip to Shanghai and Qingdao, China. After the initial meeting in Shanghai the TU Braunschweig and Tongji University partners went on an excursion to Qingdao, the research project site, to establish local partners and learn about the city and region of Qingdao. During this time the EAST-CITIES team met with and shared work with Qingdao Urban Planning and Design Institute. Both groups discussed work they have done and shared information on techniques and methods used.  The EAST-CITIES team looks forward for the continued collaboration with Qingdao Urban Planning and Design Institute moving forward with our research project.
